Background: Tonsillectomy is one of the most common surgeries performed by an otolaryngologist, with post operative pain during initial 24 hours being challenging concerns. This makes it a need to find suitable mode for managing imperative. study aims to: assess control ropivacaine 0.25% and bupivacaine which among these two drugs are better in controlling safer. Methods: The 70 patients were selected, randomized, double blinded into group 1 2 given intraoperative infiltration either or respectively tonsillar bed after tonsillectomy. done same surgeon cold steel method Post was evaluated using VAS (visual analogue scale) at regular intervals.
